Instructor Requirements
The NCLETTC is constantly adding to our team of instructors. If you would like to become an Adjunct Instructor with the NCLETTC and have a specific area of expertise in the public safety community, (corrections, law enforcement, emergency response, related leadership etc.) please feel free to contact our training manager, Michael Younger at (877)-625-3882 ext. 2424 or myounger@nclettc.org.
NCLETTC is looking for certified instructors in the areas of Fire Fighting, EMS & related fields. Please contact Michael Younger at (877) 625-3882 ext. 2424 or myounger@nclettc.org.
Generally, the NCLETTC requires:
- A minimum of 7 years of service or expertise in a given area
- Documented technical competence in the specific area the instructor is wishing to teach
- Completion of a 40 hour Instructor Development/Train the Trainer course
- Letter of reference from at least 3 different agencies or departments that have benefited from your training skills
- Copy of all instructor certificates
- Bio & Resume
Areas concerning investigations, terrorism, courtroom security and physical security assessment are in demand.
