Year-Round Display Possibilities
As the use of technology in public safety increases, there is a demand for wider dissemination of what products are available. The NCLETTC has recognized that need and has developed a "Technology Demonstration Room" displaying the latest emerging technologies. The Technology Demonstration Room is open to all students attending training at the NCLETTC or for public safety agencies that schedule a visit or request a specific product demonstration.
Students attending classes that have a scenario requirement may use any of the technologies applicable to their scenario. After reviewing the technologies or using the technology in a scenario, students are requested to complete an evaluation form asking for feedback regarding functionality, applicability, or recommendations to the manufacturer for improvement or additions. This practice provides an outlet for vendors to display their products and technologies and receive feedback from the practitioner in addition to providing the practitioner with an opportunity to see the latest technologies.
To schedule a visit or product demonstration, contact the NCLETTC at 877.625.3882 or via e-mail at nclettc@nclettc.org.
