Description:

This class was designed for corrections, law enforcement, counselors and anyone else who may find themselves questioning/interviewing suspects or persons. It is an overview of deception and the tools for detecting deception. This comprehensive block of instruction will include the methods and techniques, research validity, and areas of concern as they relate to finding and then extracting the truth from a person who has the intent of concealing the facts. The course will examine the psycho physiological detection of deception (polygraph), behavioral cues, and statement validity analysis as well as demonstrate the method of statement assessment.
