Description:

The 8 hour Clan-Lab Recognition and Safety class will give insight to 1st responders from all facets of the Public Safety community. Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, EMS/EMT will benefit the most as they learn what a Clandestine Laboratory is, how to identify a “Clan-Lab” and most importantly what safety measures are necessary to prevent illness, contamination and explosion. Various air monitoring device kits, their purpose and proper usage will also be covered.

Objectives:

What is a “Clan-Lab” and what drugs are produced

The dangers of methamphetamine and its production

First Responder actions and responsibilities

Pre-planning for the clan-lab response
