Description:
This course is designed to teach firefighters how to rescue firefighters. This is an extremely difficult task. This course incorporates basic rescue skills that firefighters should already be familiar with along with advanced techniques that students will learn in this course. This will be a “hands on” class with no more than 4 hours of classroom lecture. The practical skills sessions will cover ropes and knots; patient packaging; sub-floor rescue techniques; hot bottle changes; and low air consumption drills.
