Description:

All participants will be instructed on how to shoot more accurately, perform reloads with greater speed, clear malfunctions and engage the threat from various positions, while under stress and while on the move. Students will be taught proper use of cover and single hand firing techniques. Multiple firing drills will enhance the student’s reaction time.

Objectives:

Will be able to shoot from unusual positions

Will be familiar with and be able to demonstrate in practical application various shooting stances

Will be able to shoot while on the move to and from positions of cover from the draw

Will be able to execute close quarter stances and drills

Be familiar with weapon retention techniques

Be able to fire and retain their weapon from both the weapon and reaction hand.

Effective cover officer firing drills

Effectively perform incapacitation drills

Close quarter drills from the draw and while moving

All drills will be conducted while on the move and under a created stress environment

Requirements:

Duty Belt w/ weapon

Minimum 200 rounds of ammunition

Eye & ear protection

Body armor

Elbow/knee pads

Note Taking Material
