Description:
An intensive one-day course designed to provide the attendee with the basic knowledge required when tasked with traveling armed on a commercial aircraft. The course will cover the requirements of TSA for flying on a commercial aircraft. The course is included with an exercise within confined spaces, and a block of instruction on prisoner transport techniques. Attendees must bring lead free ammunition for the live-fire portion of the class or they may purchase it from NCLETTC.
Objectives:
TSA standards for flying on commercial aircraft while armed
Standards for escorting prisoners on commercial aircraft
Do’s and Don’ts for escorting prisoners on commercial aircraft
Effective firearm techniques while on aircraft or in any other confined space
Requirements:
Sidearm w/ holster (duty gear is acceptable)
100 rounds of lead free ammo
Extra magazine/speed loader
Eye & ear protection.
