Description:

This course is designed for EMT and SWAT medics. It will enable the student to perform dual role in crisis situations using the Center Axis Relock and Active Defense system. The training helps negate the need for specific tactical protection from other team members.

Objectives:

Understand the principles of explosive entry

Become familiar with rappelling and other rope techniques

Learn to effectively retrieve/treat casualties while under fire

Learn the concepts of fire and maneuver

Requirements:

Duty gear

Tactical duty gear

Body armor

Shotgun/sub gun if issued

500 rounds hand gun ammo if issued

200/25 rounds sub/shotgun if issued

hearing/eye protection

medical aid kit
